Change the finish and protect the paint in one film.

DEFENDER Satin does two jobs at once: it converts gloss paint to a soft satin finish, and it protects that paint with the same 200-micron self-healing TPU as the rest of the DEFENDER range.

That combination is the point. A satin wrap alone changes the look but adds little protection. A clear PPF protects but leaves the finish as it was. Satin gives the customer a genuinely different car and a 10-year protected one — without stacking two films or compromising on either.

The satin surface cuts glare and hides light soiling far better than gloss, which is part of why it holds its appearance between washes. The top coat is hydrophobic and self-healing, so light scratches close with heat rather than dulling into the finish.

A note for the installer: satin and matte films show fingerprints and handling marks during installation more readily than gloss. Clean gloves are not optional.
